RICHARD CLIFFORD
Richard Clifford has lived in Headley since 1994. He was Chairman of Headley Parish between 2007-2010 and has been an active Councillor for nearly 14 years. Richard is acutely aware of the mis-management, cuts and financial ineptitude of the Tory District Council and the urgent need for political change. Richard says "Tory run East Hampshire is not serving its citizens well. Residents are suspicious of the Whitehill-Bordon Eco-Town project, in particular housing numbers and increased traffic. The Eco-Town, will have a major effect on Headley and Standford in particular. There must be a Referendum and that must include Headley As a Parish Councillor, Richard has promoted cycle usage, sporting facilities and safe play equipment. He works locally for an aerospace company, is married with two grown-up children and in his spare time enjoys countryside walks, cycling, wildlife and the occasional visit to Aldershot Football Club.
GARY HOPWOOD
Gary Hopwood is a Headley Parish Councillor and was Chairman of Headley Parish Council. He has a proven track record of standing up for Headley and Headley Down on a wide range of local issues.
He has lived on Heatherlands estate 1999, is married with three children, the youngest having cerebral palsy.
Gary joined the local Community Association and Action Group to make the estate more child friendly and is campaigning for improved recreation and transport for Headly and Headly Down. He has succesfully organised a rubbish amnesty to combat fly tipping.

Gary says
"I am standing up for Headley to get things done. To improve our local amenities. To fight for better public transport and more things for children and young people to do."
