Conservatives tap tax cash to make a splash

Gold plated tapsMost of us would never think of spending £12,000 on a new bathroom suite. But Conservatives in Hampshire decided to splash the cash on their renovated Civic Centre - and spent a whopping £12,000 of council taxpayers' money on just six designer taps.

At the same time, they closed six care homes for vulnerable elderly people. Somehow, the Conservatives did not get their priorities right.
